The stars were shining brightly for Emmaus in a 75-59 win over East Stroudsburg North. Given Emmaus' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while East Stroudsburg North is ranked 232nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Loss or not, East Stroudsburg North got some senior leadership from Nate Wilder who scored 24 points along with three steals and Bryceson Dobie who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. Wilder scored a full 40.7% of East Stroudsburg North's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Wayne King was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Emmaus and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for East Stroudsburg North, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
