St. Patrick won the last time they faced Elm Creek and things went their way on Tuesday too. The St. Patrick's Irish took their match with ease, bagging a 69-38 win over the Elm Creek Buffaloes. The Irish have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 29 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Elm Creek saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caleb Reiter went 8 of 15 on his way to 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reiter has scored all season.

St. Patrick's is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Elm Creek, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 8-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Patrick's will head out to take on Perkins County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elm Creek, they will venture away from home to face off against Loomis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Loomis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.3 points per game this season.
