The Desert Christian Knights had to endure a 13-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over Palmdale Academy Charter School. The victory was just what Desert Christian needed coming off of a 85-49 defeat in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Desert Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Schroeder, who scored six points along with 14 rebounds and two blocks. John Helton was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Desert Christian's victory ended a 13-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-18. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
