Adding to the longest winning streak in Chicago Catholic - Blue this week, Loyola Academy beat Lake Forest Academy 35-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Loyola Academy took down the Caxys 35-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
St. Rita's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. TOMMY MISTER threw for 187 and 3 touchdowns and JULIAN CRUM had 127 yards receiving. On the ground MISTER chipped in 184 yards. JOHN LADD helped St. Rita's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 34 yards.
MISTER put up the best numbers in passing as the Mustangs topped Brother Rice. MISTER's favorite target this week was CRUM, who caught 4 passes for 127 yards.
St. Rita's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. MISTER has thrown for 840 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while CRUM has 16 catches for 357 yards. MISTER also leads the league in rushing with 1,042 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between St. Rita and John Holecek's team. Todd Kuska's team enters the game ranked 10th in the state, while the Ramblers ranks third.
The Mustangs led Chicago Catholic - Blue in scoring this week by notching 38 points on the Crusaders. MISTER ran for 184 yards in the win.
