Volleyball Recap: Armuchee's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Armuchee can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dalton Academy Pumas. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Armuchee was: they took both sets by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Ansley Cordle paced Armuchee's offense, picking up eight kills. Cordle got some help from Ava Grace Crump and her 23 assists. Crump was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Armuchee's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Dalton Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coincidentally, Armuchee and Dalton Academy will both be playing Darlington the next time they take the court. The Pumas will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
