Lead-Deadwood will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Pine Ridge at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-42, which was the final score in Lead-Deadwood's tilt against Upton/Sundance last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, Pine Ridge couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Red Cloud by a decisive 26-46 margin.
