Newport Harbor faced Esperanza in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Sailors snuck past the Aztecs with a 12-7 victory. The win was just business as usual for the Sailors, who after six games remain undefeated this season.
Newport Harbor found their leader in sophomore Scarlett Guyser, who rushed for 88 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 118 yards on 14 of 20 attempts.
