Logan Jenkins of
Collinsville (Texas) had a senior year for the ages, leading his school's baseball team to a state title and the football team to a 13-2 record and state quarterfinal appearance. For his efforts in the spring, Jenkins has been named the Small Town National Player of the Year.
Jenkins finished among the national RBI leaders with 65 while scoring 69 runs and batting .549. He tied for the national lead in wins (with teammate
Rylan Newman) with 15 and had 156 strikeouts.
For his career, Jenkins ranks fifth in state history (according to the MaxPreps Texas High School Baseball Record Book) in runs scored with 175. He is also sixth in career RBI with 164 and third in career base hits with 172. He also broke a reported state record for career stolen bases with 130 and his single-season total of 63 is good for second all-time.
Collinsville finished 40-3 and won the Class 2A state championship.
On the gridiron last fall, Jenkins threw for 5,060 yards (third in state history) and 67 touchdown passes (fourth) while leading the Pirates to a 13-2 record and Class 2A Division 2 quarterfinal appearance. His 137 career touchdown passes rank seventh all-time in state history.
Andy Davis of
Sumrall (Miss.) is the Small Town National Coach of the Year. A longtime assistant under former coach Larry Knight (who won national titles in 2009 and 2010), Davis has kept the Sumrall baseball tradition going with two state championships in the past three seasons. The Bobcats finished No. 1 in the Small Town Top 25 this season.
Members of the Small Town All-America Team must attend a school with an enrollment under 1,000 students in a town with a population of less than 10,000.

The highest-rated player in the state by Perfect Game, Swanson led Toutle Lake to a third-place finish in the Class 2B tournament. He averaged over two strikeouts per inning with 111 in 50.2 innings pitched. He also had a 1.66 ERA with a 6-1 record. At the plate, Swanson batted .461 with 34 runs, 27 RBI, nine doubles and two home runs.

The Super CenTex Player of the Year by the Waco Tribune-Herald, Perez batted .465 with 56 runs and 46 RBI. He also went 14-1 on the mound with a 0.52 ERA and 147 strikeouts in 80 innings. He posted eight shutouts on the season.

Class 3A All-State pick by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association went 14-1 with 164 strikeouts and 0.46 ERA in 90.1 innings pitched.

The two-time Northern Section Player of the Year finished his career with a section record 37 wins (37-2) and 359 strikeouts. He had 121 Ks as a senior with an 11-1 record and a 0.44 ERA in 64.1 innings pitched. He also batted .411 with 33 runs, 29 RBI, 12 doubles and two triples.

Smith led Beal City to back-to-back state championships in Michigan, throwing a five-inning perfect game in the Division 4 final. He went 10-0 on the season with 112 strikeouts and a 0.57 ERA in 61.2 innings pitched. Made the Michigan Baseball Coaches Association Dream Team.

In leading the Hawks to the Class M state championship, Belcher had a 10-0 record, including an 8-0 shutout win over Joel Barlow in the championship game. He finished the season with 98 strikeouts and a 0.48 ERA in 58.2 innings pitched. At the plate, Belcher batted .359 with 16 runs, 19 RBI, four doubles, a triple and two home runs.

In leading the Reds to a fourth straight Class 3A state championship, Haythorn finished his career with a perfect 30-0 record and 316 strikeouts. He went 11-0 this year with a 1.99 ERA and 88 strikeouts. He also batted .395 with 33 RBI, four doubles and a home run.

An All-State selection for the Class 4A state champions, he went 8-3 with a 1.92 ERA and 90 strikeouts in 65.2 innings. He also batted .355 with 35 runs, 30 RBI, seven doubles, two triples and four home runs.

Rated as the top junior in the state of Minnesota by Perfect Game, Haas earned All-State honors by the state coaches association and went 10-1 with a 0.92 ERA and 151 strikeouts in 84 innings pitched.

The Class 4A Hitter of the Year in Alabama, Smith batted .628 with 64 runs, 60 RBI, 16 doubles, three triples and 10 home runs. He also pitched and had a 10-1 record with 93 strikeouts and a 1.96 ERA in 67.2 innings pitched.

The All-Area Player of the Year by the Champaign News-Gazette, Landrus batted .478 with 43 RBI, 15 doubles, five triples and four home runs.

Named the Player of the Year by the Daily Chronicle in DeKalb County, Ledbetter batted .492 with 36 runs, 28 RBI and nine home runs.

Teammed with Dax McCaskill to lead Washington to a third consecutive Class 3A state championship. Moore earned all-state honors while batting .517 with 13 home runs and 63 RBI. He also went 8-1 on the mound with 55 strikeouts.

Named to the All-State team by the Oklahoman, McCaskill blasted 13 home runs and batted .487 with 47 runs scored. Along with Marlon Moore, led Washington to its third straight state championship.

A sophomore during the season, Willits reclassified to the Class of 2025 for next year. He earned all-state honors and led his team to a state championship. He batted .614 with 10 home runs and 30 RBI.

Named the co-captain of the All-State team by the Omaha Herald after batting .496 with five home runs. He also scored 43 runs and drove in 31.

The Class 1A Player of the Year and the Main Street Preps Player of the Year, Baker batted .526 with 54 runs, 44 RBI, 22 doubles and three home runs. He also had a 9-2 record with a 0.92 ERA and 87 strikeouts in 61 innings pitched.

Named the Class 3A Player of the Year by the Deseret News, Park batted .458 with 41 runs and seven home runs. He also pitched 43 innings and struck out 80 batters.

The twin brother of JoJo Parker, Jacob led Purvis to the Class 4A state final and made the Class 4A All-State team by the Mississippi Association of Coaches. He batted .422 with 35 RBI, 27 runs, 12 doubles and five home runs.

A possibility to be selected in the MLB Draft, Strosnider made the Texas all-star game after leading Brock to the state tournament. He was among the national leaders in doubles with 22. He also had nine triples and three home runs to go with 50 runs, 45 RBI and a .540 batting average.

The Class 3A Pitcher of the Year went 11-0 on the mound with 100 strikeouts and a 2.03 ERA in 75.2 innings pitched. He played outfield and batted .384 with 44 RBI, 24 runs, 10 doubles, one triple and four home runs.

A Class 2A All-State selection after leading his team to a state championship, Burress batted .596 with 59 runs, 26 RBI, 10 doubles, three triples and four home runs. He also went 12-0 on the mound with a 0.84 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 83.2 innings pitched.

Named to the Class 3A All-State team, Jenkins led Collinsville to a state championship. He batted .549 with 69 runs, 65 RBI, 13 doubles, six triples and five home runs. On the mound, Jenkins went 15-1 with a 0.44 ERA and 156 strikeouts in 79.2 innings pitched.

Named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State team, Newman led the nation in wins (along with his teammate Logan Jenkins) with a 15-0 record that included a 0.60 ERA and 127 strikeouts in 81 innings pitched. He also batted .365 with 53 runs, 41 RBI, six doubles, two triples and five home runs.

Limon reached the Class 2A state championship game again behind the play of Bandy, who had a 13-1 record with a 1.83 ERA and 129 strikeouts in 76.2 innings pitched. The All-State pick also batted .524 with 55 runs, 41 RBI, 14 doubles and five home runs.

The Class 2 Player of the Year led Iberia to an undefeated record of 28-0 in winning the state title. He had a 14-0 record with 154 strikeouts and a 0.51 ERA in 82.2 innings pitched. He also played outfield and batted .427 with 30 runs, 14 RBI, three doubles and one triple.

McClain was the ace pitcher for a BEA team that won a state championship and finished near the top of the Small Town Top 25. He had a 13-0 record with a 1.63 ERA and 77 strikeouts in 81.2 innings pitched.

The Class 3A Pitcher of the Year went 8-0 and had a 0.24 ERA with 105 strikeouts in 59 innings pitched. He also batted .341 with 23 runs, 11 RBI, six doubles, three triples and four home runs.

The Player of the Year by the Times Union, Rowe finished 10–0, struck out 102 batters and had a 1.88 ERA in 59.1 innings pitched. He also batted .541 with 28 runs and 25 RBI.
