The Quincy Notre Dame Raiders will challenge the Routt Catholic Rockets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Quincy Notre Dame is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Quincy Notre Dame gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Quincy by a score of 9-6.

Kaden Marth was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradi Lahr, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Quincy Notre Dame was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Quincy only posted a batting average of .241.

Meanwhile, Routt Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Illini West by a score of 6-5.

Talon Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Quincy Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Routt Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-12.

Saturday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Quincy Notre Dame hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like Routt Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .320. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Quincy Notre Dame skirted past Routt Catholic 6-4 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rockets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
