The Highwood Mountaineers had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by Centerville 58-29 on Saturday. Highwood has not had much luck with Centerville recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Centerville was led to victory by Cole Noble and Luke Kelley. Noble scored 15 points, while Kelley scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Olson, who scored 8 points.
Highwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Centerville, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Highwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Great Falls Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. As for Centerville, they will face off against Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
