The Marlow Outlaws won the last time they faced the Latta Panthers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Marlow strolled past Latta with points to spare, taking the game 48-32.
Marlow's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Harris, who scored 11 points along with five assists and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Blayd Harris, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Marlow now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Latta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
Marlow will head out on the road to face off against Broken Bow on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Broken Bow is ranked 89th, while Marlow is ranked 107th). As for Latta, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Silo. Silo is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
