Cheverus has won 15 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Windham has won 15 straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Stags will welcome the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Cheverus 1.2, Windham 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Wednesday, Cheverus beat Bonny Eagle 5-2. The win continues a trend for the Stags in their matchups with the Scots: they've now won five in a row.

Bonny Eagle's batters probably weren't too happy with Addison DeRoche, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 17 Ks (she gave up three walks). DeRoche has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
Cheverus hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in seven consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Windham made easy work of Westbrook on Thursday and carried off a 17-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Kennedy Kimball made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Kimball was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Oakley McLeod was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addison Caiazzo, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Windham's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Cheverus, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cheverus hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .426. However, it's not like Windham struggles in that department as they've averaged .414. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Cheverus beat Windham 6-2 when the teams last played on May 12th. Will the Stags repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
