Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lamar County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zyquavius Hughley, who rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Hughley was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 51 yards. Caleb Laster was another key contributor, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Crawford County's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.0 points per game. As for Lamar County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

As for Lamar County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heard County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Heard County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Lamar County is ranked 148th).
