The Fall River Bulldogs and the Los Molinos Bulldogs squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Fall River Bulldogs had to settle for second. Fall River took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Los Molinos. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Fall River's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Abe Estes, who rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Carter Kroschel also helped out as he racked up 101 rushing yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Los Molinos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Harrison Hamre, who rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 125 receiving yards and a touchdown. Los Molinos also got help from Karson Fox who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.
Fall River's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Los Molinos, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Fall River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Los Molinos will head out on the road to face off against Portola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Portola will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
