Caden Bailey Goes Supernova in Hilmar Loss
Caden Bailey's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his 12th-straight game with 100+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Sonora's probably not too fond of Bailey given he always seems to get the better of them. When Bailey last faced the Wildcats back in September of 2023, he rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.

Sonora Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Brody Speer
Brody Speer was instrumental in extending Sonora's winning streak to six on Friday. Speer did his part (and then some), picking up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 37 yards for the 'W'.
Sonora pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Speer and Sonora will head out to square off against Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Byington Came Up Big in Sonora's 45-28 Win
Cash Byington posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 59 yards.
On the season, Byington has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 66 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 14 rushing yards per game.

Eli Ingalls Turns in Season-Best Effort
Eli Ingalls produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sonora to the win on Friday. Ingalls rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 40 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the year, Ingalls has thrown 6 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 77.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging one rushing yard per game. This year he is averaging 41.83 rushing yards.
