Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Girard). They never let the McKinley Red Dragons get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. Girard haven't had any issues with McKinley recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Girard hit McKinley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Trevelline (2), Dominic Marks (2), Danny Mackie (2), and Max Erickson.

The victory got Girard back to even at 4-4. As for McKinley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Girard will head out on the road to challenge Hubbard at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for McKinley, they will face off against Lakeview at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. McKinley's defense better be ready for this one: Lakeview have averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season.
