East Wake came out on top against Smithfield-Selma on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-1 back in March.

East Wake's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for Smithfield-Selma, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.

As of now, neither East Wake nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
