Meanwhile, Philip can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Crazy Horse, posting a 74-20 win at home. With that victory, Philip brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Philip got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josie Jones out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Jones is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Terkildsen, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
New Underwood's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Philip, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
