The Lakeside Rams had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came out on top against Arkadelphia by a score of 57-47. That's another feather in the cap for Lakeside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Molly Reeves, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Reeves scored 15 or more points. Mckenzie Williams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Lakeside pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Arkadelphia, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Lakeside will head out on the road to face off against Arkansas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arkansas is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Arkadelphia won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Murfreesboro at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Murfreesboro will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings (they are ranked 170th, while Arkadelphia is ranked 44th).
