North Stafford hasn't had much luck against Mountain View recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wolverines will welcome the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
North Stafford's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Massaponax. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kaylie DeChicchis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, North Stafford let Addy Aragon and Kelsie Jacques run wild. Aragon went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Jacques went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Aragon has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Presleigh Jennings, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.
North Stafford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Mountain View had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Wildcats have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
North Stafford's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.75 runs across that stretch. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
North Stafford skirted past Mountain View 5-3 when the teams last played back in April. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
