After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Magnet, Tellico Plains was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against Apostolic Christian as Tellico Plains made off with a 14-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Cole Dodson looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Rylan Woods was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Colt Cooper, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Tellico Plains has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Apostolic Christian is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Tellico Plains didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-3 win against Apostolic Christian Academy on the 28th. As for Apostolic Christian, they will challenge Central Magnet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
