The Wewoka Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 72-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Holdenville. Wewoka has struggled against Holdenville recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Kase Sipes was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points for Holdenville. Another player making a difference was Mike Piza, who scored 14 points.
Wewoka's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-5. As for Holdenville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Wewoka will head out on the road to face off against Okemah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holdenville will be home for the holidays to greet Meeker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
