It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Jackson South Side ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Chester County Eagles 5-3. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jackson South Side's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Chester County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.

Jackson South Side will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
