North Fort Myers had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons  a   10-0 shutout  on Tuesday. Considering the Red Knights have won 13 contests by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Abigail Hynes was  incredible,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mia Lane, who  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 North Fort Myers  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Charlotte struck out seven times.
North Fort Myers pushed their record up to 19-7 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Charlotte, their loss dropped their record down to 13-15.
As of now, neither North Fort Myers nor the Fightin' Tarpons have any future games scheduled.
