The Muldrow Bulldogs are on the road again on Friday to play the Eufaula Ironheads at 7:00 p.m. Eufaula took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Muldrow, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Muldrow blew past Spiro, posting a 36-7 win on the road.
A big part of Muldrow's victory came down to the chemistry between Teaguen Collins and his top target Deshawn Wilson. Collins rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries while Wilson rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Collins also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles and defending a pass.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Muldrow was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 281 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 200 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Eufaula came up short against Sallisaw on Friday and fell 27-14.
Muldrow's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Eufaula, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything went Muldrow's way against Eufaula when the teams last played back in October of 2017, as Muldrow made off with a 28-7 victory.
