Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Port of Los Angeles to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gared Almazan, who scored 21 points along with 7 assists and 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Almazan has scored at least 25% of Port of Los Angeles' points. Hudson Smith was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 8 assists and 7 rebounds.
Port of Los Angeles' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Animo Leadership, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
