Wetumpka extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 9-2. They came out on top against the Prattville Lions by a score of 6-2. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 6-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

As for Prattville, they moved to 16-2 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but Wetumpka's pitchers proved too tough.

For Prattville's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will McKay, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Wetumpka will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair will be back at it again later today.
