Despite the loss, Florence got a solid performance out of Logan Stenson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Stenson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Bradeen, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Palo Verde aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Wednesday extended their overall winning streak to three. They took down San Tan Foothills 60-45.
Daniel Ortiz was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Adrain Powers was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Palo Verde, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
