A Season-Best Effort from Christian Richey Leads Hillcrest over Tuscaloosa County
Christian Richey produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hillcrest to the win on Friday. Richey rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (106.1) per game. Those 187 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Hillcrest now has a winning record of 4-3. They and Thompson are set to duel on Friday.

Anquon Fegans Dazzles in Thompson Victory
Thompson found a leader in Anquon Fegans as the squad took down Hewitt-Trussville on Friday. Fegans turned in nothing short of a gem, forcing a fumble and making six total tackles.
Hewitt-Trussville's probably not too fond of Fegans given he always seems to get the better of them. Fegans forced a fumble, made seven total tackles, and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception the last time he and the Huskies duked it out back in November of 2023.
