Aubree Davis was her usual excellent self, throwing for 95 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in rushing yards (28). Jaylani Palmer was another key player, picking up 60 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Shadow Ridge's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. It was truly a group effort as Elaine Penaranda, Rosely Hensley-Mokiao, and Mariah Stevens-Walden picked up two apiece.
Meanwhile, Virgin Valley won against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon on Monday with 34 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Virgin Valley breezed by Sports Leadership & Management to the tune of 34-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Virgin Valley's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.3 points per game. As for Shadow Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.
