Baseball Recap: Cocoa Beach Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cocoa Beach's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Carroll Catholic Rams on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Minutemen's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cocoa Beach saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Marshall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Marshall is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for John Carroll Catholic, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-9.

As of now, neither Cocoa Beach nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
