They breezed by Fulton Science Academy on the road to the tune of 88-40. Winning may never get old, but Horizon Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Leading Horizon Christian Academy to victory were Hunter Beenken and Evan Holcombe. Beenken dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds, while Holcombe dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. Beenken has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Johnson, who scored ten points.
Horizon Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Fulton Science Academy, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-8.
Horizon Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Shiloh Hills Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Shiloh Hills Christian is ranked 322nd, while Horizon Christian Academy is ranked 329th). As for Fulton Science Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Cristo Rey Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
