Creekview proved they can win big last Friday (they won by five) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Newman Smith Trojans a 1-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Trojans back in February, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Creekview's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15-2. As for Newman Smith, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16-1.

As of now, neither Creekview nor Newman Smith have any future games scheduled.
