The Shepherd Bluejays won the last time they faced the Farwell Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Shepherd blew past Farwell 62-18 at home. Given Shepherd's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Farwell is ranked 474th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Colton Dysinger was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 22 points along with four steals. Kam Williams was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Shepherd pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Farwell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shepherd will play host again and welcome Swan Valley, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Farwell, they will be playing at home against Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
