Reid Giles Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Rabun County's Reid Giles, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Giles made 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss). The performance also marked the most rushing yards (232) he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.

Athens Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Keyon Standifer. Standifer was dynamite, picking up 198 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards.
Athens Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Standifer and Athens Academy will face off against Providence Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Athens Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kj Whitehead. Nobody could stop Whitehead as he picked up 77 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards.
For the year, Whitehead has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 15.6 receiving yards per game.
