After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mattawan, Chippewa Valley was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Bay City Western Warriors as they made off with a 10-3 victory. Payton Coldicott was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs.
