Brennan has gone 8-2 against O'Connor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bears will challenge the Panthers at 12:30 p.m. Brennan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 contests -- so hopefully O'Connor likes a good challenge.
On Saturday, Brennan made easy work of Harlan and carried off a 67-41 win. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Brennan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Ward, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 14 points along with six assists and five boards. That's the most assists Ward has posted since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jacob Padilla, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 14 points and six steals.
Brennan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, O'Connor came up short against Harlan on Wednesday and fell 65-58.
Brennan will have to contain Hagen Hurst as he made an impact in O'Connor's last game. He dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Hurst's big performance that evening made it 21 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Bilyeu, who shot 63% from the field en route to 12 points.
Brennan is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points over those games. As for O'Connor, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.
Keep an eye on the arc in Saturday's matchup: Brennan has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 36.5% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for O'Connor, though, as they've only made 26.2% of their three-pointers this season. Given Brennan's sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Everything came up roses for Brennan against O'Connor in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as the squad secured an 86-52 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Hurst, who earned 15 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Bears still be able to contain Hurst? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
