The Los Altos Conquerors will square off against the Colony Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Los Altos has four straight wins, Colony has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Los Altos barely beat San Dimas the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Conquerors blew past the Saints 12-2 on Friday. The Conquerors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29th (when they won 14-2).
Kaylahni Duenas made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Duenas was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Brianah Alejandre was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Esmeralda Soto, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Los Altos always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Dimas only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, Colony came up short against South Hills on Wednesday, falling 17-1.
Colony saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khloe Barros(2027), who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Los Altos pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Colony, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
Los Altos skirted past Colony 5-4 in their previous matchup on Monday. Do the Conquerors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
