Peddie had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Mercersburg Academy Storm. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Peddie's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Mercersburg Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Peddie will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Hill School at 4:30 p.m. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.67 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mercersburg Academy, they will square off against Kiski School at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
