If Spanish River wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Seminole Ridge, they should've done a better job of containing Pierce Giebenrath. The Hawks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sharks on Tuesday with plenty of help from Giebenrath, who had 22 digs and one assist. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Seminole Ridge walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-18, 16-25, 25-16, 25-15.

Seminole Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Spanish River, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Seminole Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Forest Hill on the 2nd. Spanish River has also already played their next game (against Park Vista), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
