Softball Recap: Pickerington Central Wins Going Away Against Reynoldsburg

Pickerington Central won the last time they faced Reynoldsburg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Samara Williams looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April.

At the plate, Sophia Kounouzvelis was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Camree Cunningham was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Pickerington Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They are 8-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
