All Saints added to the longest winning streak in Southwest Prep - North this week by beating Episcopal School of Dallas, 48-13. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Holland Hall scaled the state rankings by moving to 71 from 292 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Dutch were able to move up by losing to Cistercian 49-39.
Matthew Merrick provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Hawks defeated Holland Hall. He completed 19 passes for 330 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 10 yards. Merrick's key target this week was Andrew Beytagh, who caught 4 passes for 108 yards.
Krys Terreri was a key player and the best on defense this week as Cistercian bested Tag Gross' team. He.
Foster Sawyer threw for 301 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Brodrick Umblance was the best wideout in the league this week as Oakridge lost to St. Mark's. Umblance racked up 7 receptions for 129 yards. Blake Burris helped Oakridge's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 71 yards.
All Saints' Sawyer and Blaze Moorhead have formed a dream team this season, leading Southwest Prep - North in both passing and receiving yards. 6-5 quarterback Sawyer has thrown for 1,544 yards this season, while Moorhead has 27 catches for 523 yards. Dare Odeyingbo from Steve Mccarthy's team leads the league in rushing with 970 yards.
Odeyingbo of the the Hawks is only 30 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Odeyingbo has rushed for 970 yards on 118 carries so far this year.
At the moment, the Owls are in sixth, while Aaron Beck's team is in first.
