The Clarksville Academy Cougars won the last time they faced the Friendship Christian Commanders, and things went their way on Saturday too. Clarksville Academy walked away with a 48-35 victory over the Commanders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clarksville Academy.
Clarksville Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sicily Robinson out in front who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Victoria Anderson, who scored 16 points.
The win got Clarksville Academy back to even at 12-12. As for Friendship Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Clarksville Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Friendship Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nashville Christian will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
