Veritas Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-36 W against The Christian School at Castle Hills Eagles. That's more bragging rights for Veritas Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Veritas Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Perry Kinane, who shot 42% from the field en route to 13 points and three steals. Kinane has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Vimont, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

The win got Veritas Academy back to even at 5-5. As for The Christian School at Castle Hills, they moved to 13-2 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Veritas Academy is taking a road trip to face off against New Braunfels Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Christian School at Castle Hills, they will venture away from home to take on Hyde Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
