Mandeville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Covington Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Skippers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mandeville's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Covington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Mandeville has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lutcher on the 13th. As for Covington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Doyle on the 15th.
