Softball Recap: Hersey Wins Going Away Against Wheeling

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenbrook North, Hersey was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Wheeling Wildcats. Considering the Huskies have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Hersey's record now sits at 7-4. As for Wheeling, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hersey will face off against rival Prospect at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Wheeling is set to square off against their familiar foe Rolling Meadows at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
