The Cary Academy Chargers are taking a road trip to  face off against the Cary Christian Knights  at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday. Cary Academy knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Cary Christian likes a good challenge.
On Saturday, Cary Academy beat Charlotte Country Day School 71-62. The  victory was all the more spectacular given the Chargers' disadvantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 272nd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 64th).

  Aidan Rousseau was  his usual excellent self,  shooting 4-for-7  from downtown and  dropping  a double-double on 31  points and 13  boards. The  game was  his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Julian Tweedy, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 13  points and nine  boards.
Meanwhile,  Cary Christian's undefeated season came to an end after  seven games  on Friday. They took  a  62-44 bruising from GRACE Christian. The  matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 The match pitted two dominant  guards against one another in  Andrew Neal and  Michael Phillips II. Phillips II had a great game and  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and 14  rebounds. Meanwhile,  Neal did his best for the losing side,  putting up 19  points and seven  rebounds.
 Cary Academy's win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 4-7. As for Cary Christian, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 7-1.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as  both  are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Cary Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season,  having  averaged 59.9 points per game. However, it's not like Cary Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 67.4  points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
 Cary Academy strolled past Cary Christian when the teams last played  back in February by a score of  73-57. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was   Neal, who  went 8 of 20  on his way to 32 points and four  steals.
