Cedar Ridge couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a  blow against the Carrboro Jaguars on Friday, falling  48-17. The Fighting Red Wolves haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Cedar Ridge got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of 
 Jamee Watson and 
 Kate Finnegan, who each put up five points.  
 Kassidy Tolliver held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Ridge will take on Chapel Hill at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Carrboro, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Chapel Hill at 6:30  p.m.  on December 10th.
