The Concord Christian Lions entered their tilt with Apostolic Christian with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Concord Christian walked away with a 56-43 win over Apostolic Christian on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Concord Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Apostolic Christian players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brady Wilson, who scored 15 points. The game was Wilson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Rogan Bailey was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Concord Christian pushed their record up to 6-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Apostolic Christian, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Concord Christian and Oakdale will round out the year against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at. Apostolic Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Scott at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
