Basketball Recap: Rossville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rossville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 69-62 win over the Sabetha Bluejays.

Rossville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jakoby Mcdonnell out in front who went 5-for-8 to rack up 17 points in addition to five assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Miller, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 17 points.

Rossville's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Sabetha, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Rossville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-41 victory against Royal Valley on the 11th. As for Sabetha, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-29 win against Jefferson West on the 11th.
